New Waverley, our £150 million regeneration scheme currently transforming the heart of the Edinburgh’s Old Town, has been nominated for a top national property award.
New Waverley was one of only a handful of UK-wide developments to make the shortlist for the fiercely-contested ‘Placemaking’ category of the 2017 Property Week Awards. The event will be held in London on 4th April 2017.
The Placemaking award rewards “commercial and mixed use developments that have regenerated and physically improved the built environment around a particular site”.
The award nomination recognises its current status as one of the UK’s most important city-centre regeneration sites, taking place in the historic and highly sensitive World Heritage Site of Edinburgh’s Old Town.
